The Latest

We met our realtor this morning to look at a back-up house -which we ruled out- and then gave her the corrected signed lease for the Saddlehorn Trail home. The landlord agreed to most of our requests but there were some changes we had to make in the way the requests were worded. Plus, he's charging us prorated rent for the last week of August and a few other things.

We don't have the executed lease yet with his signature so we are not proceeding to arrange utilities etc... until we we do.

I've packed just about everything I can until a day or two before the move. Tim's been packing the workbench and stuff in the garage. It's cloudy and we had some rain, so the temperature hasn't been unbearable.

Last night Daisy (the dog) wanders into the bedroom. She's has a place on a blanket she sleeps on at the foot of the bed. She hops onto the bed and starts to wedge herself between Tim and me and I tell her "Daisy, go where you belong" at which point she heads for Tim's pillows and plops her head down on them. We burst out laughing, of course. She reluctantly and slowly inched her way down to her spot when we commanded her to.
